TDP Cycle Club is established in July 2002. It comprises of members from the resident of Taman Desa Permai and its neighbouring area. TDP Cycle Club is formed to create a healthy generation besides having fun riding. There area lot of activities organized including rides in Penang and Kedah. The club has achived it first feat whereby it's members managed to own high-end mountain bikes within 2 months. The club members own mountain bike with brand such as GIANT, KONA, GTS, GT, SCOTT and others.
TDP Cycle Club comprises of 21 active members and they are from all walk of live, from govenment servant, private sector as well as running own business.
We always welcome anyone to share our passion for this sport. If you own a bike, know how to ride a bike and have the gut to ride, then join us for our weekend and afternoon rides. For the first time, 9 riders from TDP Cycle Club rode from Sungai Kob to Bukit Hijau and return with the total distance covered was 62 km. It was a fun ride and the wheather was on our side without the hot sun. Even though it was drizzling, everybody was happy.
